There’s a new NCAA savior in town, we’ll discuss Condi Rice’s suggestions for NCAA reform, the NFL Draft and much more.

The show returns after a few days to adjust to some changes outside the show, but Andrew is back and better than ever.
On this edition of the show we dive in to the media’s obsession over a one-armed player in the NFL Draft, how Lamar Jackson’s race figured in to the NFL Draft (and how not to be a coward when writing flame-throwing articles). We also dive in to two big topics in the NCAA — reform and paying players.
Yes, we’re talking Condoleza Rice’s reform suggestions and Nigel Hayes’ continued advocacy for players in the NCAA to get paid. Hint, neither one of these went over too well with Andrew.
Don’t forget you can now find the show on your favorite podcast app with Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher and of course by the Podiant website.

Episode 4: AOC’s racism of low expectations

Someone once talked about the bigotry of low expectations…and late this past week one Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez proved that statement more than true.
AOC went full racist while delivering a speech at the National Action Network conference and it’s not in the way anyone else will talk to you about.
She wasn’t the only one lying to you this week, as the media and Howard Schultz himself tells us that he’s a centrist candidate for president. I explain why he’s Barack Obama 2.0 and not a centrist.
There’s also this little thing called the Gender Wage Gap and #EqualPayDay. Watch as I bust that narrative with actual numbers.

If you’ve tuned in to the Sports-centric version of the show, welcome in to the new era of The Andrew Coppens Show. We’ll still be taking on narratives, but it’s all about #NumbersOverNarratives across the world of politics, sports and everything in between.
This show is also a video show, so make sure to subscribe to the YouTube page!
Another week, another big name gets the big target on his back from the Democratic frontrunners for the 2020 presidential nomination. Of course, we’re talking about everyone’s favorite fake-Hispanic, Beto O’Rourke.
The question is, why did they turn the guns on him? Perhaps could it be because what he says and does are two different things?
Also on the show, Jemele Hill goes full SJSW and decides to tell those who don’t live in cities that they can’t lead the United States…all in an effort to say the electoral college doesn’t work.

The Andrew Coppens Show is back and as we delve in to the 5 pillars of the SJSW from last time, this week provides us a great opportunity to take on hypocrisy in the sports media.
It isn’t just one side of the cultural spectrum either, as Andrew takes on Clay Travis’ Greg Schiano hypocrisy, the SJSW’s about-face when it comes to Bob McNair and Liberty deciding to hire Hugh Freeze of all people.
Andrew also has a special guest, as Chris Havel of 107.5 The Fan (WDUZ) in Green Bay, Wis. joins to talk his journey through the sports media world, what has changed and how we move forward.
